Payment and Shipping

 

We accept Visa, MasterCard and payments through Paypal.  You will receive email to confirm your order.  If you do not recieve this email, please check your spam email folders and make sure your security settings are not bouncing or burning emails from us. We are sorry, but we do not accept Discover, American Express, personal checks or money orders.

As is standard in the industry, all pattern sales are final. No returns, no exchanges, no exceptions.

We ship USPS priority flat rate mailers.  We do charge a nominal “handling” fee. We do not offer overnight shipping.

The flat rate mailer holds about 5 patterns.  The rate for the envelope plus handling is $5.40.  For orders that cannot fit in one flat rate mailer, we ship using the flat rate box.  The rate for the box plus handling is $12.  We can fit up to 20 patterns in the box. During checkout, you will only be charged $5.40 for the flat rate mailer. If we need to use the flat rate box or a second mailer, the additional shipping charges will be processed on your credit card separately. We will notify you of the additional charges before processing payment.

ORDERS OUTSIDE THE U.S.:  Decades will ship orders outside the United States but we use Global Priority Flat Rate mail.  Flat rate mail is the most economical way to ship but the US Postal Service does not offer insurance or tracking for flat rate packages. Decades of Style IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for packages shipped via USPS Global Priority Flat rate mail. This means if your order gets lost on its way to you - Decades will not replace the order. If you wish to add tracking or insurance to your order, shipping rates are considerably higher and will be calculated separately. We will inform you of the adjusted shipping total before we process your order.

If you choose the flat rate mailer, the Global Flat Rate mailer plus handling is $17.50 and holds up to 5 patterns (Canada and Mexico, $13.50).  If you order more than 5 patterns, we ship using 2 or more of the flat rate envelopes for which you will be charged an additional $17 per mailer.

Placing your order means you accept our shipping policy. If you have questions or complaints about the rates, we suggest you direct them to the USPS at USPS.com. Sadly, Decades of Style does not have any control over postal rates.
