Less is more. Except when it comes to fringe! This simple and sophisticated vintage pattern from 1925 is all about the fringe. Thank goodness this dress pattern finally gives us all an excuse to buy some of the wonderful beaded fringe out there right now.
The dress would also be just as lovely with embroidery along the edge or even with no ornamentation at all. We also see this dress with a contrasting fabric for the overlay; perhaps a sheer or even a beautiful lace to give it a more formal flavor. The possibilities are endless!
The pattern only has 3 pieces and the main focus of the dress is the flattering diagonal line of the Applied Front piece (and the fringe only works to emphasize this even more.) It is a slip-over dress with an opening at the left shoulder. This is a very good style for full figures and, of course, we have your size ready for you.
